Largest Dog Breed

We will start out the extra large dog breeds with the African Boerboel, who is often mistaken as a Bulldog or a Mastiff in appearance. The extra large dog breeds starting with the letter B is the Beauceron, who is a breed that dates back to the 16th century. This fine breed is one of France’s most beloved dog that is known for their leadership qualities that comes from their herding background. One of the oldest working dogs is the Bernese Mountain dog, with their beautiful black, brown and white coats. This breed does not have the life span of most breeds so enjoy every minute you have with them.
